I use it on a daily basis for important things, so any information or help would be greatly appreciated. It's impossible to use my computer with this noise, because it is so loud, and trying to deal with it is extremely frustrating. I know that that's not a very high rpm because I believe it can go up to around 6000 rpm. Then, suddenly, the noise will start, and I see that my fan has jumped to around 1200-1300 rpm. My fan, for the brief period of time that the noise is not happening after I turn it on after shutting down, is at 0 rpm. (I'm trying my best to explain it.) I got an app that monitors things like this to see what was going on, and what I found was this: My computer remains at about 40-50 degrees Celsius. It is very, very loud, and is an almost clicking noise. It sounds almost as if something is getting in the way of it. It isn't just a loud fan, because I've experienced that before.

The palm rest sensor never drops bellow 40 degrees Celsius when Mac is actively used and charging brings it up even more. Could this be a battery problem The battery cycle count is at 680, condition is normal. Just recently, an extremely loud noise started coming from the right side, from what I think is the fan. The MacsFanControl reveals that the Palm Rest sensor is at about 47 degrees Celsius when the fans are loud (5000rpm and more).
